Who We Are & Why We Care
When you come to the Bonnaroo Music Festival, June 12-15, 2014, check out the More Than Music Tent.
Our tent is located behind the row of food vendors across from the main entrance.
We offer free water, tea, coffee, lemonade, fresh fruit, and snacks. We also have free travel size toiletry items in case you forgot your toothbrush or toothpaste, and free sunscreen. There is free internet access. On some days, the best thing about our tent is that it offers a shady place to sit in front of big electric fans!
The tent is staffed by local volunteers from area churches.
Why do we do this? This is our way of sharing the love of Jesus Christ with those who come to our community for Bonnaroo.
If you would like to know more about Christianity, we offer free Bibles and Christian literature. There is always someone available to answer your questions.
How to volunteer
Volunteers are needed to help with the More Than Music Ministry at the Bonnaroo Music Festival.
There are two requirements for volunteers:
1. You must be 18 years old or older.
2. You must be a born again Christian and a member of an area church.
The purpose of this ministry is to share the love of Christ with those who attend Bonnaroo. Volunteers must be able to explain our motivation for this ministry.
Volunteers applications are available. You can select how you would like to serve and the days and times you wish to work.
After your application is filled out, please view the volunteer videos. These videos will explain where to check in, how to catch the shuttle bus, how to pick up your identification badge, and other information.
Only approved volunteers will be able to ride the shuttle and work in the ministry.
Thank you for your interest in this great ministry!
